Disney recently announced a new perk for Disney Passholders and their friends and family. Guests of Passholders visiting the parks between August 12th and September 30th can purchase a 1-day Park Hopper ticket for $79 ($84.14 with applicable taxes). The fine print states that this discount is valid for up to 6 guests, the tickets have to be purchased at a Disney ticket window and used on the same day, and the Passholder must be present and show valid pass and ID. These discount tickets can be purchased by anyone holding a theme park annual pass, including the Weekday Select Pass and the Epcot After 4 Pass, but water park annual passes are not eligible. This $79 ticket is a significant discount over the typical one day pricing and it will be interesting to see if Disney offers this discount again in the future.
