New details were released about the upcoming D23 Destination D event, which will be held November 19th and 20th, at Disney’s Contemporary resort. The Destination D event is held exclusively for members of D23, the official Disney fan club. Disney announced this week that James Cameron will be joining producer Jon Landau and imaginer Joe Rhode at to reveal new details about Pandora: the World of Avatar. Pandora, which will be opening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2017, is a 12-acre immersive land which will include spectacular architecture, two new attractions, and a new restaurant. Other speakers at the event will include Bob Chapek, Chairman of the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts, and Jared Bush, the screenwriter for Moana, Disney’s upcoming animated film.
