Disney World introduces alcoholic beignets

Disney fans know that everything tastes better at the park and they never disappoint when it comes to wild, Instagram-worthy snack offerings. Case in point: the Walt Disney World resort now has alcohol-infused beignets, and they're airy, sugary pillow-shaped pockets of booze.

Located at the jazz-inspired Scat Cat's Club bar and lounge at Disney's Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter, guests can imbibe and indulge in the new Baton Rouge Beignets, an adult twist on the classic New Orleans-inspired dessert staple, a snack beloved by Disney fans on both coasts.

For $8, guests get three traditional beignets that come with three pipettes filled with either Bailey's Irish Cream, Kahlúa, or RumChata, all flavored liqueurs. DisneyFoodBlog notes that so far, you get your choice of only one liqueur for the boozy beignets.

Injecting the liqueur instead of pouring over each treat prevents sogginess, and also surely makes for a great Instagram video.

In recent months, fans have been coveting the many new Disney desserts, from mermaid cupcakes to Mickey-shaped beignets, and while these ones aren't Mickey-shaped (at least not yet), they're sure to win the hearts of anyone that tries them … as long as you're over 21, of course.
