Episode 215 – Disney Theatrical Reference Tracks

Bryan RipperPodcast

This week on the All About the Mouse Disney Podcast Patrick Kramer joins us to talk about his role in the recording of Disney’s official reference track for the theatrical version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Patrick is a Nashville resident, singer/actor, and theatrical producer, and he had the opportunity to record the voices for Phoebus and Clopin as an official reference that Disney gives theaters that obtain the rights to perform the Disney version of this classic tale. He’ll talk to us about his experience with the audition and recording process as well as some behind-the-scenes info on what goes into making a reference track for a Disney theatrical production.

In the news this week, Walt Disney World annual passholders can now purchase a discounted bulk Express pass bus pass to use at the parks, Disney cracks down on people who have learned to cheat the Fastpass+ system, new menu items arrive at various quick service and full service restaurants all over Walt Disney World property, and much more.
