Hall of Presidents to Receive President Trump Addition

The Hall of Presidents in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will be making an addition to the audio-animatronic presidents featured in the attraction. In keeping with longstanding tradition, a Donald J. Trump audio animatronic will be joining the other 44 audio animatronic presidents featured from George Washington to Barack Obama.

This report comes as Disney CEO Bob Iger announced on a quarterly earnings call this past Thursday that they were readying the iconic attraction for the addition of President-elect Trump.

Referencing President Obama’s call for a smooth transition as he welcome President-elect Trump to the White House, Iger said on the call, “I will say on the smooth transitions front, we are going through a smooth transition as well. We have already prepared a bust of President-elect Trump to go into our Hall of the Presidents at Disney World.”

Disney posted a notice on the Walt Disney World web site Friday stating that the attraction would be close from January 17 through June 29. This is, seemingly, to make the necessary addition. If past additions are any indicator, Trump will probably record a speaking part for the audio animatronic in the attraction, but it is unknown if any other changes will be made to the attraction during this lengthy refurbishment.
