Mission: Space and the China Pavilion at Epcot will see new films as the first part of a major overhaul of Epcot.

A new Green Mission at Mission: SPACE will take guests on a stunning tour around the Earth, and an updated Orange Mission will make the trip to Mars even more spectacular with new display systems.

The new Green Mission is part of a desire to make Epcot “more timeless, relevent, more family, and more Disney.”

Mission: SPACE is currently closed for the refurbishment, and is expected to reopen to guests on August 1 2017.

Over at the China Pavilion in World Showcase, a brand new digital seamless display system will overhaul the existing Circlevision 360 with a new film.

An opening date for the new China film has not yet been announced.
