Disney’s Hollywood Studios is undergoing some major renovations right now, and we continue to hear about more changes coming. This time, the change will occur in the Muppet Courtyard where the existing Pizza Planet counter service restaurant will be converted into PIzzeRizzo. Name after the loveable rat Rizzo from The Muppets, PizzeRizzo will replace Pizza Planet with fare similar to what is currently being served, but there will be a notable difference in atmosphere and theming. Rizzo is the owner of the counter service pizzeria, and there will be hints of Rizzo, his family, and guests that have come to visit Rizzo over the years all over the restaurant. This will be a two story location with indoor and outdoor seating. In addition, according to the Disney Parks Blog, “guests will be able to dine in a “cheesy” banquet room, or take five in a special booth designated just for Rizzo’s celebrity friends.”
