Satu’li Canteen Restaurant And Mobile App Announced For Pandora

They just released dining details for Satu’li Canteen, as well as some new developments in the ordering process.

Thematically speaking, the Satu’li Canteen was once a mess hall belong to the RDA (Resources Development Association) but has since been converted to a dining area by Alpha Centauri Expeditions. The decor is museum-like, focused on the Na’vi culture with “hand-woven tapestries, natural Pandoran elements and even cooking tools…” The fast-casual restaurant features an on-stage grill, and the menu is focused on the bountiful healthy options Pandora has to offer.

The surprises do not end with the cuisine, however, as Satu’li will be the first restaurant to offer Mobile Order. Guests will be able to order their meal using the My Disney Experience app whenever they choose. The app will let guests customize their orders and pre-pay; the kitchen won’t prepare the meal until the guest arrives and taps “I’m Here” on their app. The app will then notify the guests when their meal is finished, allowing them to pick it up without ever stepping in a queue. Satu’li Canteen accepts the Disney Dining Plan, but for now, the app only accepts credit cards.

Mobile Order is expected to be implemented at other fast-casual and quick-service restaurants later this year.
