On this week’s show, we’re getting festive with a special Halloween episode of All About the Mouse. It’s no secret that The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite attractions in all of Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Not only does it have some of the best effects that have stood the test of time, but it has a story that resonates throughout the mansion that has become both legend and lore at the same time. Behind the scenes, the creation of The Haunted Mansion has an equally mesmerizing story that, believe it or not, goes back to before Walt’s Disneyland park was ever built. This week, I’d like to share some of these stories with you as well as some attraction audio from Walt Disney World’s Haunted Mansion and Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Holiday featuring Jack Skellington and the rest of the gang from Tim Burton’s A Nightmare Before Christmas.
