As Disney fans, many of us are partial to Disney theme parks and the Disney brand itself, but many of us (myself included) also really enjoy Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, City Walk, and the Universal property hotels. I’m joined this week by Adria and Carey from our Disney Conversation Starters panel to talk about some of the differences between Disney and Universal, what what makes both of them unique and enjoyable vacation destinations, and what you might want to know before deciding on which one to visit on your next trip to Florida.
Episode 674 – WDW/Universal Trip Report
On this week’s show, I’m giving a trip report from my recent vacation to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Orlando! Against all of my better judgement, we decided to take our family to do theme parks in Orlando in the month of August, the hottest time of the year. While there were many moments of hot, sweaty, misery, there were also some fun times we had along the way. We even got them chance to partake in some brand new experiences like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Harmonious at Epcot, breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort, Volcano Bay waterpark at Universal Orlando, and much more. I can’t wait to share my thoughts and reviews on these items and so much more!
