Marissa GordonNews

Walt Disney World has begun distributing free insect repellent to guests across it’s parks and resorts on Sunday as the Zika virus continues to spread across Florida. Locally transmitted cases of Zika have been reported in Broward, Pinellas, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties as of August 28th, and while there have been no reported as of yet in central Florida, parks across Orlando including Disney, Universal and Sea World, are choosing to be proactive in protecting guests. Insect repellent will be available free of charge at all Disney theme parks, Disney Springs and the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex as well as in all resort rooms.
