On this week’s show, I’m joined again by Disney historian Jim Korkis to talk about some of the stories behind Walt Disney World’s forgotten attractions. As we approach the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, it’s appropriate to look back at the genesis of the second Disney park and Walt’s original idea for what he wanted to do in Florida. Jim joins me to tell that story and to take a peek behind the curtain at some of attractions that have come and gone since the opening of Walt Disney World in 1971.
