New signature dining restaurant to open at Epcot’s Japan pavilion

There is a new sit-down restaurant coming to the Japan pavilion in Epcot. The new restaurant is said to draw its inspiration from the natural beauty in Japan. According to the Disney Parks Blog, “The setting will draw from both nature and takumi, which means ‘artisan’ in Japanese, and the relationship between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world will be evident throughout the space”.

Mitsukoshi USA is the company that operates the merchandise, kiosks, and other restaurants Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining in the Japan pavilion, and they will be operating this new sit-down restaurant as well.

As of this time, there is no additional information as to the location of this new restaurant or its opening date, but stay tuned!
